“They are people who loved one another for the sake of Allah, without ties of kinship between them and without wealth exchanged between them. By Allah, their faces will be light and they will be upon light. They will not fear when people fear, nor grieve when people grieve.”

We are a community dedicated to creating a space to cultivate the body, mind, and spirit. Through education, inner growth and worship we seek to know ourselves and our Creator directly and intimately.

Welcome to The Zawiya.

Our Philosophy

The Zawiya provides a platform, physical, spiritual, and intellectual for you to reconnect with your Lord through the vision of Divine Light.

Rooted in revelation, beyond dogma and creed, we seek to revive the direct experience of knowing and worshipping the Divine.

We are a community of thinkers, artists, scholars, and above all seekers. Come with us as we embark on this journey.
